With a marble staircase and elegant wall mouldings, Lastarria Boutique Hotel boasts details of 5-star décor. Guests can rely on the tour desk to arrange Spanish classes, ski resort passes and show tickets.

The rooms are styled with cream-coloured walls, warm hues and parquet floors with lush rugs. They feature iPod docking stations, flat-screen cable TVs, work desks and minibars.

Enjoyable stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was spacious, there was a good shower and we liked the pool area and garden. The location is very good with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff.

The shower floor was slippy, perhaps a non-slip mat could be provided.

Great location and value!

Great location, friendly staff, breakfast okay, nice hotel, comfortable room and good value for money.

Creaky floor in the bedroom (sounds ridiculous but it was quite surprising!). Breakfast was a bit basic.

Great stay, would stay again.

The breakfast restaurant itself is a very setting for the property. Very relaxing. I had the room right by reception which I loved, it was super convenient. The guy on the front desk was super helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

I think the food at breakfast could do with focusing a little bit more on healthier items (apples, bananas, etc.), other than that it was good. Breakfast staff could be a little more greeting and friendly. They are not as approachable as the reception staff who are fantastic.

Wonderful

The property is super charming and the rooms have a good size! The staff was friendly and helpful, the shower was great and we really loved Barrio Lastarria. Would definitely stay there again when coming back to Santiago.

Great boutique hotel

Very friendly and accommodating staff, Beautifully appointed rooms. The breakfast area was charming and can be used for afternoon/ night relaxing drinks.

The styling , comfortable beds and quiet but central location.the staff was responsive, attentive and reliable.

Breakfast was great. The room was a good size and the bed and linen very comfortable.

There was a mix up with the shuttle and no one was there to pick us up.

Lovely room overlooking the garden at the back. Great central location for Santiago

Breakfast wasn’t available the next morning, despite being told that it started at 7.30am

Well run and well located boutique hotel in Barrio Lastarria

Well located boutique hotel several blocks from the city centre, but situated on a quiet street away from the noise and crowds. The staff were professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of foods and great coffee. The outdoor terrace area offered a reprieve from the afternoon heat in Santiago. I would recommend this place.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Excellent staff!

Without exception, the staff were friendly, hospitable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The building is lovely and the balcony of our Junior Suite room was very spacious and well equipped with outdoor furniture. The garden terrace is very attractive and a comfortable place to have breakfast/ relax. The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to the lively part of Lastarria which has a great selection of restaurants and bars. Fabulous coffee served at breakfast.

Breakfast is currently provided by an external company and comes pre-packed in individual boxes. Although you can choose items from the menu the day before the items in the box didn't always correspond to the choices.

Well located hotel with friendly & very helpful staff.

Unfortunately, the current unrest in Santiago curtailed the freedom of movement around the city. Otherwise the location of the hotel is very good. The selection at breakfast was good. The staff were excellent in their friendliness and service.

The room was a little on the small size.

Awful hotel and only one decent member of staff there. Trying to make money where it can

The room has a nice terrace. Location was good for accessing the old part of Santiago.

The hotel is using Covid as an excuse for cutting corners and trying to maximise profits. Breakfast is left in a box for each room to collect from the restaurant - not a problem in itself although other hotels are now offering full breakfast service which is socially distanced. The box for 2 people contained a slice of chicken and salami wrapped in cling film, 1 sandwich with a scraping of green filling, 2 unsealed pots of brown chopped fruit, 1 unsealed jar of yogurt, 2 slices of toast, an unsealed pot of butter, an unsealed pot of jam, 1 bottle of water and 1 unsealed jar of juice. No knife/spoon etc and it had clearly been left out in the warm dining room for several hours. Inedible. Despite us speaking to staff, it was repeated again the next day. Room not particularly clean. Dust everywhere. When I asked to settle the bill at check out, I was advised they’d already taken the money despite me telling them at check in that I wanted to use a different card to the one I used to make the reservation. I pointed out I hadn’t seen a copy of the bill or authorised the payment to be taken and the manager asked me to sign to say I authorised it. Disgraceful Hotel. Will not use it again and won’t recommend it.

To avoid, despite the excellent location.

Excellent location

The hotel has just reopened, was not ready for the new season, rooms lacking basic amenities, no TV. Highly overpriced. Awful prepackaged breakfast in cardboard boxes. The staff was friendly but inefficient. Difficulties with the payment system - had to pay cash USD for the stay.

Exceptional

Hotel manager was very keen that we had the best stay.

Creaky floorboards. Pool didn’t look inviting. Presence of police outside the hotel was initially concerning but we’re from London and felt very safe despite the civil disturbances (which were obviously beyond the control of the hotel).

Best little hotel ever!

The location, the staff, the hospitality, the rooms, the terrace, the breakfast, the bathrooms, the parking, absolutely everything! I’ve traveled the world and I have to say this is absolutely one of my favorite hotels! Can’t beat the price for everything here ️

Nothing! The protests were happening near by but the staff took great care in making you feel safe. Recommended where to go and when and what to stay away from!!!

The perfect boutique hotel in one of the best neighborhoods of Santiago.

This place is fantastic. One of the few properties in the area with some king size beds. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped us secure a tour, arranged for transportation, and answered any questions we had. The pool area and patio in the back of the hotel felt like a very personal oasis in which we could have a glass of wine and dip our feet in the pool and peacefully enjoy the birds chirping and the greenery of the yard. Breakfast was always a treat. They always served a variety of breakfast items and had your coffee or tea to order. There was afternoon tea/coffee time as well if you just wanted to chill out and have an afternoon beverage. We were also fortunate to receive the only garden-level room that allowed to walk up to the pool and patio at our leisure. I should also say that there is zero need to be concerned with your safety in this area. The police (and definitely not the protesters) will not hurt tourists and I never once felt unsafe wandering over to the artsy and cozy Lastarria neighborhood. Additionally, the front doors are always locked and someone is there 24/7 to let you in. Overall, comfy bed, great food and ambiance, incredible staff, and truly a phenomenal experience all around. I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed this place. Thanks again!
